92/100, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
100 Years old Vineyards
7000 Bottles produced ONLY ; Very Limited edition
Serve at 16°. This rich wine with depth reveals, thanks to the maturity of
the grapes, notes of black fruit, spices and liquorice. It is dense, generous
and has a slightly toasted note. Plump and powerful, it retains a freshness
that complements the very long finish very well.
Manual harvest in 10kg trays with one single layer of grapes. Refrigeration
at 5°C for 24 hours. Double selection (bunches, then grapes), then
fermentation in 300L and 500L barrels with punching down twice a day.
4-week maceration, then gentle pressing with a manual press.

Created in partnership with René Barbier, the reputed Catalan winegrower, Le Credo is the result of painstaking work that takes place from
the growing of the vines, with a rigorous selection of micro-plots of
calcareous clay soil with scattered schistose rubble and siliceous pebbles.
Biodynamic farming, harvesting by hand in small trays, precision
fermentation – every effort is made to preserve the fruit that is at the
heart of this exceptional wine before it is aged for 18 months in concrete
egg-shaped tanks and 300L barrels with a very light filtration.
