Wish Red Blend Mendocino CA:
Symbol of American celebration and tradition. Established in 2010 by our friend and Sommelier Dave Bender, we wanted to offer a product that combined his wine experience and passion for entertaining friends and family with the Brutocao family’s 74 year history of growing grapes and producing wine.
TASTING NOTE
Our Red Blend was created with your best interests in mind. Our Italian inspired red blend combines Sangiovese, Barbera, Primitivo, and Zinfandel. It has a nose of raspberry which is followed by a round mouthfeel bursting with fresh cherries and hints of spice. This wine finishes with integrated tannins and good acidity to make it a perfect food match. Mature flavors are a clear indication that this wine is ready to drink.
Madrona Estate Zinfandel Hillside CA :
The aromas are filled with an intriguing complexity of spice and dark berry fruit with subtle hints of sweet molasses and ripe blackberry. This invitation to the first taste is greeted with a boldness of mountain-grown aspects and intensity. Dark cherry, plum, black raspberry and Siskiyou berry fruit envelope the senses on the entry, evening out into a purity of black cherry throughout the mid-palate. Medium to full-bodied, this Zin embraces its rustic heritage, finishing with a slight floral note, the classic earthiness of the region, and the youthful yet approachable tannins one expects from older vineyards. There is no doubt that this wine was grown in the higher elevations, and there is no doubt that the essence of El Dorado is experienced with every sip. This is terroir in a glass!
